Unnel Concrete Maintenance Formwork Performance

Our company has independently developed a tunnel concrete maintenance formwork, which is primarily composed of a workbench, a high-pressure spray curing system, a water tank, a bottom beam, and an electric walking system.

Effect

Tunnel linings are traditionally maintained through natural curing or water spray curing, which are highly susceptible to external environmental conditions and human factors, making it challenging to achieve optimal curing results. Our tunnel concrete maintenance formwork is a specialized curing device designed to overcome these maintenance challenges. It effectively addresses the issue of tubular tunnel sections where the inner walls are difficult to wet and maintain, thereby significantly enhancing the tunnel construction progress and work efficiency. This maintenance trolley has been awarded national invention patents and numerous utility model patents, and has been widely adopted in various major projects across the country, receiving positive feedback from customers.

Advantages

Operational Convenience: The formwork is easy to operate, practical, and features advanced and practical design.

High Automation and Strong Adaptability: The equipment boasts a high degree of automation, excellent sealing performance, strong adaptability to different tunnel sections, and simple operation.

Quality Assurance: It ensures the strength and durability of the secondary lining concrete, resulting in a good appearance quality, while saving labor and water costs.

Wide Application and Fast Operation: The trolley is designed to avoid the risks associated with working at heights, ensuring operability and speed.

Versatile Use: It is equipped with a construction work platform and can also serve as a tunnel repair trolley, offering convenience and quick response.

Efficient Curing System: The high-pressure spray curing system emits water mist, achieving uniform and appropriate multiple spraying functions. This effectively prevents water from pooling and ensures the secondary lining concrete remains moist and fully cured, conserving water resources in the process.

Tunnel Concrete Maintenance Formwork Instructions

The confined and limited space within tunnels presents challenges for assembling the formwork trolley. To ensure the safety of the concrete and mechanical construction of the tunnel concrete maintenance formwork, it is essential to meticulously adhere to the following instructions.

General Requirements

1. All construction personnel must wear safety helmets, fasten seat belts when working at heights, and correctly use personal protective equipment.

2. It is prohibited to enter the work site wearing slippers, hard-soled slip shoes, high heels, or barefoot to participate in operations.

3. The safety distance between oxygen and acetylene bottles on site must be no less than 5 meters, and the distance from open flames must be no less than 10 meters. Rubber shockproof pads must be installed. Before starting work, remove all flammable and combustible materials from the work area, prepare fire extinguishers, and designate someone to be in charge.

4. On-site electricity must meet the requirements of three-level distribution and two-level protection, adhering to the principle of "one machine, one switch, one box, one leakage protection." Electrical equipment malfunctions must be handled by electricians. Cables are prohibited from being wound around steel components of rebar or trolleys. Non-electrician personnel are strictly forbidden from performing electrical work to prevent electric shock accidents.

5. Special types of workers, such as mechanical drivers, electricians, welders, gas (cutting) welders, etc., must hold valid certifications.

6. Working while fatigued, sick, or under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

7. Sufficient lighting is required for assembly work inside the tunnel. Use a 36V safety voltage or flashlight when working in close proximity to others.

8. During the disassembly and assembly of the tunnel concrete maintenance formwork, a designated person must be assigned to carry out the operation. If the line of sight is obstructed, additional personnel must be added to coordinate and command.

9. Assemblers must have certain installation experience, be physically strong, and have quick reflexes. They must not stand in positions where they could be trapped.

Specific Requirements

1. The base surface for the tunnel concrete maintenance formwork must be solid and level. It is strictly forbidden to have one side soft; the top surface of the track should be on the same plane, and the track spacing must match the wheelbase of the platform.

2. Materials used for high-altitude operations must be securely tied with ropes. Small materials should be placed in tool bags for lifting and positioned in stable locations to prevent falling and injury. Throwing items is strictly prohibited.

3. Disassembly and assembly must be supervised by a designated person, with the crane operator coordinating to achieve steady, precise positioning. Work should be secured with supports.

4. The anchors used for lifting must be crossed and subjected to tensile testing. Pay attention during use to prevent the anchors from loosening. Ensure the wire rope is securely connected before lifting.

5. During the installation process, intermittent components such as bolts, tie rods, etc., must be firmly installed and integrated before the operator can leave. When suspending work, it is necessary to check and confirm that the template, stays, and connecting pieces are stable before leaving the scene.

6. The use of wire ropes and retaining rings must follow the manufacturer's specifications. Wire ropes without specifications must be tested for tensile strength before use. Allowable bearing capacity of wire rope = diameter (mm) × diameter (mm) × 4.5 (kg)

7. The wire breakage standard and wear of the wire rope must comply with specified requirements. When lifting heavy structures or major components, new wire ropes should be used.

8. Wire ropes must not come into contact with live metal (including wires and welding tongs) to prevent burnout.

9. Chain hoists must be hung securely to prevent decoupling and injury.

10. The site where the template is installed and stored must be flat and solid, with no water accumulation. When storing, the stacking should be stable, and the standing should be supported firmly. Do not stack materials on the wall at will.

11. The operating part of the trolley should be covered with 5cm thick wooden boards. Safety nets should be installed at the ends and below to prevent workers and debris from falling at heights. Reflective strips should be placed at both ends of the trolley.

12. After the formwork is assembled, the connecting screws should be inspected and tightened one by one, and the template joints should be ground. Only after passing inspection by the manufacturer and the equipment management department can they be put into use.
